Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2, 2026 · OnBaseIQ, LLC · support@onbaseiq.com

The short version. OnBaseIQ reads the box scores you give it and shows you what they say. It is a tool for looking at your own team's numbers, not a system of record and not a scorekeeping service. Everything stays on your device. Purchases go through Apple.

1. What OnBaseIQ is

OnBaseIQ is an app for iPhone and iPad that reads box score images you already have, builds them into a season, and produces reports about your own team's hitting and pitching. It is published by OnBaseIQ, LLC. These terms apply to the app and to this website.

2. Accepting these terms

By downloading or using OnBaseIQ you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app, and where these terms and Apple's agreement differ on a point Apple's agreement governs that point.

3. Your licence

We give you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use OnBaseIQ on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or any part of it.

4. Accuracy, and what we will not do to your numbers

This matters more here than in most apps, so it is worth being direct about it.

5. Your content

The images you bring in and the data built from them are yours. They stay on your device. We do not receive them, do not claim any rights over them, and cannot access them. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you bring into the app, and for how you share anything you export from it.

6. Acceptable use

Please use OnBaseIQ for your own teams and players. Do not use it to harass anyone, to build profiles of children you have no relationship with, or in any way that breaks the law or the rules of your league. Do not attempt to interfere with the app or to use it to infringe anyone's rights.

7. OnBaseIQ Pro, purchases and renewals

Some features require OnBaseIQ Pro. It is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or lifetime access purchased once.

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's discretion under the App Store Terms of Service, and requests should go to Apple rather than to us. Prices may change for future purchases, and we will not change the price of a subscription you already hold without telling you and giving you the chance to cancel.

8. No affiliation with other services

OnBaseIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to GameChanger, its owners, or any other scorekeeping or statistics service. Any such name that appears is used only to describe where a box score you already have may have come from, and all trademarks belong to their owners.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. Because your data is stored on your device rather than on our servers, the app continues to work with the season you already have even if we stop publishing updates. We may update these terms, and if we do we will change the date at the top of this page.

10. No warranty

OnBaseIQ is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every figure it reads from an image will be correct.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnBaseIQ, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.

12. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts located in Oregon will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of the place you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
