Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026 · OnBaseIQ, LLC · support@onbaseiq.com
The short version. OnBaseIQ does not collect your personal data. There is no account and no sign up. Your box scores, your players and your season are stored on your own device and are never uploaded to us. We have no server holding your information, which means there is nothing for us to lose, sell or hand over.
1. Who we are
OnBaseIQ is a baseball and softball analytics app for iPhone and iPad, published by OnBaseIQ, LLC, a company based in the United States. You can reach us at support@onbaseiq.com. This policy covers the OnBaseIQ iPhone and iPad app and this website.
2. Information the app collects
None. The OnBaseIQ app does not collect, transmit or store any personal information about you on our systems. Specifically:
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth.
- There is no account to create and no password to set.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, attribution or crash reporting services of any kind. The app contains no third party tracking code.
- We do not access your contacts, location, microphone or calendar.
This is why our App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
3. What stays on your device
Everything the app produces lives only on your device:
- Box score images you choose to bring in from your photo library. They are read on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
- Teams, players, games and statistics built from those box scores.
- Your own entries, such as the rating you give a pitcher you faced, team names and any corrections you make.
Deleting the app removes all of it from your device. Because we never receive a copy, we cannot restore it for you afterwards.
4. How box scores are read
OnBaseIQ reads box score images using Apple's Vision framework, which runs entirely on your device as part of iOS. No image, and no text pulled from an image, is sent to us or to any other company for processing.
5. Backups
Your OnBaseIQ data is included in whatever backup your iPhone or iPad already makes, which for most people means an iCloud backup or an encrypted backup on a computer. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy and settings. We have no access to them.
6. Sharing a team with someone else
The app can export a team to a file so you can send it to another parent or coach, for example a spouse tracking the same season. This only ever happens when you ask for it. The file goes wherever you choose to send it, through whatever app you pick, and it does not pass through us. Treat it the way you would treat any file containing children's names, and share it only with people you intend to.
7. Purchases
OnBaseIQ Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the entire transaction. We never see and never receive your card number, billing address or Apple Account details. We do not receive your name or email address from Apple. The app checks with Apple only whether a valid purchase exists on the device.
For questions about a charge, a refund or a subscription, use your Apple Account settings or contact Apple Support. We cannot see or alter your purchase history.
8. Children's privacy
OnBaseIQ is rated 4+ and is designed for parents and coaches tracking youth, high school and travel teams. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. The names that appear in the app are typed or read from your own box scores, stay on your device, and are never transmitted to us.
9. This website
This website is a set of plain pages hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no accounts, no logins, no comment forms, no advertising and no analytics. We do not set tracking cookies. As with any website, our hosting provider automatically processes standard request information such as an IP address and browser type in order to serve the page and to protect against abuse, in line with Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not receive reports identifying individual visitors.
10. Data sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or anyone else, because we do not hold any. There is no category of personal information that we disclose for a business purpose.
11. Your rights
Privacy laws in various places give you the right to see, correct, export or delete the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. Your data is already entirely in your hands: it is on your device, you can export it at any time from inside the app, and deleting the app deletes it. If you would like to confirm any of this, write to us at support@onbaseiq.com.
12. Security
Your OnBaseIQ data is protected by your device's own security, which for most people means a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID together with iOS file encryption. Keeping your device updated and locked is the single most effective thing you can do to protect it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting anything, we will say so here plainly and update our App Store privacy label before that version ships.
