PRIVACY POLICY

We collect only what we need to run OnBaseIQ. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. WHO WE ARE

OnBaseIQ ("we," "us," or "our") is a baseball and softball analytics service operated by an individual based in the United States. You can reach us at support@onbaseiq.com.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following information when you use OnBaseIQ:

Account information — your email address and password (stored securely by Supabase Auth, never in plain text)
Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, expiry, or CVV. We receive only your email address and subscription status from Stripe after a successful payment.
Game data you upload — box score screenshots, player stats, game results, and pitching ratings you enter. This data is stored in your account and is only accessible to you.
Usage data — basic request logs collected by Cloudflare (our hosting provider) including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics tools like Google Analytics.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account
Process your subscription payment through Stripe
Provide the analytics features of OnBaseIQ
Send you transactional emails (payment receipts, password resets)
Respond to your support requests
Improve the reliability and performance of the service

If we introduce marketing or promotional emails in the future, we will ask for your explicit consent before sending them and provide an easy way to opt out.

4. HOW WE STORE YOUR DATA

Your data is stored using the following services:

Supabase — your account, team data, player stats, and game history. Supabase stores data on AWS infrastructure in the United States.
Cloudflare — our website is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare may process request data (IP address, browser info) in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Stripe — all payment data is stored and processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.

We use Row Level Security (RLS) on our database, which means your data is isolated from other users — no user can access another user's teams, players, or game data.

5. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We share data only with the service providers listed above (Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe) and only to the extent necessary to operate OnBaseIQ. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.

We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

6. COOKIES

OnBaseIQ uses minimal browser storage:

Authentication tokens — stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in between sessions
Game data cache — your team and game data may be cached locally in your browser for offline resilience

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) for bot protection purposes.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data
Export — request your game and player data in a readable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@onbaseiq.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of your request. Stripe may retain payment records for longer periods as required by financial regulations.

9. THIRD-PARTY DATA AND GAMECHANGER

OnBaseIQ is an independent analytics tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way partnered with GameChanger (a trademark of Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc.) or any other third-party platform.

OnBaseIQ does not collect, store, resell, or redistribute data sourced from GameChanger or any other third-party service. OnBaseIQ does not sell GameChanger data.

When you upload a screenshot to OnBaseIQ, you are uploading an image that you took yourself using a device you own or control, from an app you have a valid account with and personal access to. OnBaseIQ processes that image solely to extract statistical information that you — the account holder — already have lawful access to, for the purpose of providing analytics tools to you personally.

You are using OnBaseIQ as a personal analytics tool for data you already own and have rightful access to. OnBaseIQ does not act as an intermediary for GameChanger data, does not aggregate data across users, and does not create any derivative database from user-uploaded content. Each user's data is isolated and used exclusively to power that user's own analytics experience.

By uploading a screenshot, you represent and warrant that:

You are an authorized user of the GameChanger account from which the screenshot was taken, or you have express permission from the account holder to use that data
You are uploading the screenshot for your own personal analytics use — not to redistribute, resell, or share the underlying data with third parties
You are not using OnBaseIQ to circumvent any terms of service of GameChanger or any other third-party platform
The statistical data visible in your screenshot pertains to a team or players you are directly associated with as a coach, parent, or authorized representative

OnBaseIQ bears no responsibility for how users choose to use the analytics generated from their own data. Any obligation to comply with GameChanger's terms of service remains solely with the user.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

OnBaseIQ is intended for use by coaches, parents, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Players whose statistics are tracked within OnBaseIQ are represented only by name and jersey number as entered by the account holder (coach or parent). We do not collect any direct information from players.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of OnBaseIQ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
