PRIVACY POLICY

1. WHO WE ARE

PitchCallingIQ is developed and operated by OnBaseIQ ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the PitchCallingIQ iOS application.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the app's features.

Information you provide directly:

• Display name — a nickname you choose when you first open the app. This is used to identify you to your session partner and appears on your dashboard. It does not need to be your real name.
• Session data — pitch calls you make during training sessions, including pitch type, location, and scenario responses. This data is used to generate your sync report.

Information collected automatically:

• Device identifier — a random identifier generated on your device, used to associate your session data with you in multiplayer sessions. This is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identity.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription, managed through Apple's StoreKit. We do not store payment information — all billing is handled by Apple.
• App preferences — your selected theme, onboarding status, and display name, stored locally on your device using UserDefaults.

Information we do NOT collect:

• Your real name, email address, or phone number
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Camera, microphone, or photo library access
• Contacts or calendar data
• Health or fitness data
• Browsing history or data from other apps

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect solely to operate the app:

• To match you with your session partner and sync pitch calls in multiplayer sessions
• To generate your post-session sync report and coaching insights
• To save your completed session history to your private iCloud account
• To verify your subscription status and unlock full report access
• To remember your display name and theme preferences

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

4. DATA STORAGE AND ICLOUD

Session data for multiplayer features is stored in Apple CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. This means:

• Your session history is stored in your own iCloud account, not on our servers
• We cannot access your private CloudKit data — Apple controls access to it
• If you delete the app or remove iCloud access, your session history may be permanently lost
• Your preferences and display name are stored locally on your device using UserDefaults

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES

PitchCallingIQ offers auto-renewing subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not store your payment information.

Subscription management, cancellation, and refund requests are handled through your Apple ID account settings. Apple's standard subscription terms apply.

Your subscription status (active or inactive) is verified locally on your device through StoreKit — we do not transmit this information to our servers.

6. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

The only data sharing that occurs is:

• Your session partner — your display name and pitch calls are shared with the partner you invite to a session, so you can see each other's results in the sync report. You initiate this sharing by creating or joining a session.
• Apple — as required to operate iCloud, StoreKit, push notifications, and App Store services.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

PitchCallingIQ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through our app, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Users between 13 and 17 should use the app with parental awareness. The app contains no inappropriate content and is designed for athletes and coaches of all ages.

8. DATA RETENTION

Local preferences (display name, theme) are stored on your device until you delete the app.

Session history stored in CloudKit persists until you delete it manually from your dashboard, or until you delete the app and clear your iCloud data.

We do not maintain independent servers or databases of user data. There is no data to delete on our end because we do not store it.

9. SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect the information handled by the app. Session data is stored in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Since we do not operate independent servers, we are not responsible for data breaches at Apple's infrastructure level. Apple's security practices govern that data.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it.

Since most of your data is stored locally on your device or in your private iCloud account, you can:

• Delete your session history directly from the app dashboard
• Change your display name at any time in the app settings
• Delete all app data by deleting the app from your device
• Manage iCloud data through your iPhone's iCloud settings

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we will provide notice within the app.
